Once your cylinder is modified to accept Moon Clips, you can still load rimmed cartridges individually. Your cylinder will function flawlessly even without Moon Clips. Plus, all we need is your cylinder assembly to make this enhancement!

We Machine All Smith & Wesson J/K/L/N/X Frame Cylinders to accept Moon Clips Except the S&W Bodyguard! Stainless Steel, Blue Steel, and Titanium Cylinders can all be converted to accept Moon Clips. After your Smith & Wesson Stainless Steel cylinder has been machined, we will send it back with a beautiful factory-grade glass bead finish.

Blue Steel Cylinders will be cold-blued to prevent surface rust, and Titanium Cylinders will be buffed with a fine convolute wheel to keep the Titanium finish. All Cylinders will be chamfered after they are machined to ensure lightning-fast reloads! Whether it’s machining your old S&W model 25 to accept .45acp, or converting your J Frame, you will never go back once you start using moon clips!

MACHINING YOUR S&W MODEL 25 & 625 45LC CYLINDER TO SHOOT .45 ACP

After your Smith & Wesson, .45LC cylinder is converted to shoot .45ACP. You will still be able to fire the .45LC cartridge 100% reliably when loading one by one as you did before! All we need is your cylinder assembly.

RECHAMBERING YOUR J, K, L & N CYLINDER TO SHOOT 9MM!

What is the downside to rechambering a Smith & Wesson Revolver to shoot 9mm? There is none! Our 9mm conversion allows you to use multiple calibers out of the same cylinder while maintaining the capability to still load one by one with .38/.357. All we need is your cylinder assembly.

NOTE

Our work on cylinders rechambered to 9mm are LIMITED to our customer's using standard 9mm ammo or low pressure reloads, which are 34,000 - 35,000 psi chamber pressure or less. Same chamber pressures apply to firing of .38 SPL & .357 Mag. Examples of FACTORY Brands are: Winchester, Federal & Remington.

Absolutely NO 9mm Nato, 9mm +P or 9mm +P+, all which are far beyond the 34,000 - 35,000 psi chamber pressure our Ruger .45 ACP & 9mm cylinder machining is intended for. Usually 38,500 psi, which WILL Stick!

If you try to use these high pressure ammo, you will experience cases sticking in all chambers.

We cannot warranty our work, if you disregard our warning/notice on high pressure ammo.

When rechambered to 9mm the cylinder will still shoot NON-HIGH Pressure ammo, 38 SPL or 357 Mag with or without the proper Moon Clip.

Reloaded range brass, with the unsupported barrel chamber bulge, will not resize properly and results in inferior ammo for use in this conversion!
