S&W 638 Spring Kit

I was impressed with the quick fullfillment of my order. While installing my kit (first time I've ever done this) I launched my rebound spring into outer space, never to be seen again. I contacted TK Customer Service and they promptly sent me a replacement spring. I got everything installed, and the revolver works as intended, with much better action. The trigger weight is now where I needed it to be. Great company to deal with!

This truly helped the trigger pull on my 432 PD. I was amazed at how easy the install was and the difference it made.

Excellent product. Little bit of common sense, combined with basic know how, installation is simple. Tutorial offered is helpful. I will add.The mainsprings in the kit are not color coded.Firing pins hammer mounted will not except the firing pin upgrade. It is made for a frame mounted firing pin.

Federal or Remington & others makes works the best with the .025 thick Full Moonclips, which fit all the .38/357 standard moonclip. They allow the cartridges to have some movement or wiggle so that they will fall right into the chambers once properly aligned. Winchester brass does not work at all as the groove width is too tight/small.

There is no SAAMI specifications for the extractor groove and each manufacturer makes them as they want. The following list gives you a great example. This is why the diameter size of the brass is critical to proper loading, unloading and fitment. Cartridge diameter too big and moonclip too small causes the moonclip to bend. The cartridge should rotate within their respective place and wobble slightly when all cartridges are loaded.
