FROM GUN LOVERS TO MANUFACTRURES
Like many gun enthusiasts, Tom Kilhoffer, our founder had always held a deep fascination for guns; he admired their craftsmanship and the immense sense of security and freedom they granted the owner. He forayed into the art of gunsmithing in 1975, honing his skill and discovering new techniques with every attempt.
The hobby eventually turned into a full-blown passion as he learned more about the craft. He began shooting competitively, collecting and studying his favorite guns. He went on to earn his first revolver championship in 1997, just two years after TK Custom’s first revolver parts were manufactured, marking the start of a remarkable business that would soon become one of the best in the industry.
He soon began teaching his grandson Eli Johnson everything he knew about the intricacies of gunsmithing. Together, he and Eli continued improving TK Custom on a mission to make it every firearm fanatic's go-to for high-quality gun parts that blow all others out of the water.
