These moon clips are amazing. They are machines to spec versus the el cheapo stamps ones. I've got a box of cheap stamped ones, probably about fifty of them that came with my 627. No matter which one I grab, they never seem to fit right, they always bind somewhere and generally just grate my cheese. I broke down and bought a pack for my starline brass. Impeccable fit, tolerance, and stiffness. Turned back around this and bought several more packs during a recent sale and also bought their new "universal" clips that will handle the various sizes of general population brass for target crap, which consist of different makes of brass. These guys are the best in the industry and their moon clips are no exception.
This is not advertised for this model, but I saw somebody else said it fit in his .50 Mag, same frame as the .460 so picked one up. It fits and works great, it is longer than the stock firing pin and quite easy to swap out. However, did not totally solve my light fire issue. Took it to the range immediately after changing it out and still had some instances where it did not fire on the first hammer release. I was very confident headed to the range that there would be no more light fires, but there were. This is not a lightened trigger either, stock trigger spring. I am still a bit perplexed by it. I believe I did see a few others who gave a similar response in their reviews. Maybe needs to be a tad longer. I believe there is room to increase the length in the firing pin chamber which would likely solve the problem. TK Custom: If you do decide to make one that is longer, please let me know, I would like to get one. Nothing worse than dropping the hammer and....click.
Very good product I had over 12 pound on my Kimber revolver put the kid in and it reduced it down to approximately at nine. Highly recommended.
