After trying various ammo I found that the Federal American Eagle 38 special is the best ammo for the TK Custom Moon Clips. The price is reasonable and if a moon clip doesn’t load easily I set it aside and take out another clip to us. TK Custom is my go to source for Moon Clips for my Chiappa Rhino 5DS.
The moon clips shipped with my S&W 627 were too restrictive to accept some .357 ammo. These clips for Hornady brass are able to accept all rounds I want to load. So glad that the folks at TK offered this solution!
All ten clips I purchased are a perfect fit in my 9mm conversion cylinder. They hold various head stamp rounds quite snugly ( the way it should be). I'm using the loader and unloader tools to great effect, glad to have them.
