So I have a .357 j frame Smith that will accept moon clips. The TK standard clips are finicky about the ammo they accept. The new stainless clips have a slit that apparently gives them more wiggle room and are able to accept a wider range of ammo brands. Well worth the little extra cost. And the mantel makes the loading of the clips much easier. Happy with the purchase
I have noted different brands of 9mm fall out of moon clip. I typically purchase 9mm ammo for semi auto and consider clean burning powder as my preference. I am a little disappointed that now I need to consider "revolver" 9mm ammo for moon clip retention.
