Just what I was looking for my S&W 327 R-8 Pro
Made right, just by looking at it, and using the clips.
Thinkness of the steel is right on, and works very good, real good.
The slits on the moon clips work, easiest moon clips I've ever loaded by hand.
I don't use my revolver for fast reloading, due to as a COP for 21 years, in those days, you learned how to put your rounds on target. Round placement is "KING".
But it's good to reload faster, if the need is to come, I really think that moon clips have done good for the revolver owner.
Thank TKC, for a good product, I've searched and wished for a product just like yours, for years.

I have never used moon clips and was about to toss the S&W moon clips in the trash, then I found this website. Got me a bunch of split moon clips for my R8 and now things are good and I no longer have to go to the thumb chiropractor after trying to load the S&W moon clips. The split tails are excellent and makes carrying ammunition easy.

Federal or Remington & others makes works the best with the .025 thick Full Moonclips, which fit all the .38/357 standard moonclip. They allow the cartridges to have some movement or wiggle so that they will fall right into the chambers once properly aligned. Winchester brass does not work at all as the groove width is too tight/small.

There is no SAAMI specifications for the extractor groove and each manufacturer makes them as they want. The following list gives you a great example. This is why the diameter size of the brass is critical to proper loading, unloading and fitment. Cartridge diameter too big and moonclip too small causes the moonclip to bend. The cartridge should rotate within their respective place and wobble slightly when all cartridges are loaded.
