Taurus REDUCED Power Spring Kit for Models 73,85,605

Had misfires with another brand of reduced weight hammer spring in my Taurus 856 UL CH. The extended firing pin in conjunction with the OEM spring popped all primers; when I swapped in the Wolff spring I had good results except for one brand of ammo: Armscor. Everything you've heard about Armscor ammo is likely true. Avoid it if possible. The Wolff spring gives a smooth, clean DA pull that pretimes without the shock a lighter spring can cause.
Great customer service, too--I ordered the wrong firing pin and a replacement was sent to me with no additional charge.

I gave this 3 stars not because of the product or the shipping but the details or lack of. The package for the trigger spring states that it might require some modification for the later models such as the 856. There are no specific directions on the package as to the modification. No other directions in the package that would direct me to the website. I had to go to YouTube and watch a video about cutting the spring. With as many of the later models (856) that are out there you would think that TK would supply a precut spring or a go no-go gage for accuracy. I’m not sure if anyone else has found this a bit frustrating along with the little bits that can come apart. I managed to get the spring cut and the bits back together and I must say that the trigger pull is significantly better.

The spring kit from TK customs was excellent and has made my revolver trigger pull much smoother.
