Great Product, Great Service

Bought a 5 pack of moon clips! Worked great! I had one clip though that was defective and would not hold two casings, they would simply fall out, no problem, things happen when dealing with machinery. I contacted their support "Great People" and told them the problem with ONLY One of the clips, could I get a replacement for this ONE, the rest were perfect! Well, within a week, a brand new pack of five arrived at my door. I offered to pay for the other 4, but they threw them in extra! Wow! Now that is backing your product! Will buy more from them, Good Folks and they stand behind each and every product they sell!

Perfect fit

I was having issues trying to get a full moon clip into my S&W 627, so I sent an email to TK Custom customer support. They were prompt and full of great information. This is my first experience with moon clips and their assistance was invaluable. They sent me a few different styles of sample clips and let me know which clips work with which ammo. The Hornady works perfectly, not only for Hornady, but for Underwood extreme predator 140 grain. The full clip slides in easily and quickly.

Federal or Remington & others makes works the best with the .025 thick Full Moonclips, which fit all the .38/357 standard moonclip. They allow the cartridges to have some movement or wiggle so that they will fall right into the chambers once properly aligned. Winchester brass does not work at all as the groove width is too tight/small.

There is no SAAMI specifications for the extractor groove and each manufacturer makes them as they want. The following list gives you a great example. This is why the diameter size of the brass is critical to proper loading, unloading and fitment. Cartridge diameter too big and moonclip too small causes the moonclip to bend. The cartridge should rotate within their respective place and wobble slightly when all cartridges are loaded.
