It is very smooth, one of the smoothest revolvers I currently own, and the quality of the workmanship was outstanding. Just a beautiful trigger and action job. I had my 686 milled for moon clips to be able to shoot 9mm, as my range mandates the use of their ammunition and 38/357 can get pricey. I am happy I did, this revolver was meant for 9mm and I can shoot twice as many for the money, fantastic workmanship, customer service and turn around time. Don't hesitate to turn a seldom used revolver into something you can shoot often and not feel bad about the cost. Thank you to Eli and company!

Super fast turn around and great service. Make sure you educate yourself on the compatibility of the brass you are using with the particular size of moon clips you use. I was not aware of the need to do this and had to sort through my stash to find cases that work.

These guys are the best I'm new to USPSA Revolver division and every email I sent them asking about recommendations and just random general questions they were always quick to respond, polite, and super informative. I sent my cylinder off to get chamfered and holy cow it is like night vs day with how easy it is to reload my moonclips into the cylinder now. They even sent me 5 free moonclips (which i had loaded prior to taking the picture) and a bunch of extra merch for no extra cost and all i asked for was a sticker. I am a repeat customer with TK Custom. I've had them chamfer and cut multiple cylinders for moon clips. The eight shot titanium cylinder for my S&W 327 snubby just came back today. Looks and works amazing now. The revolver is a performance centerpiece that lacked refinement and performance in accepting moon clips. Without a fight, it wouldn't take any combination of ammo and moon clips I would throw at it. I was not a happy camper. I decided within 20 min of owning the piece that the cylinder was coming out and going to TK for the cylinder chamfering job. It came back in quick turn around time in mint condition. All of my moon clips with any brand load, now fly right into the cylinder. It's night and day different. Above and beyond their workmanship, this time my cylinder came back in some world class packaging; trick box, stickers, ect.. When you get your parts back, you'll see the quality of the work they put into your parts. Thanks TK Costom, for taking good care of my "toys".

TK Custom has an easy to navigate website. I’d previously ordered two extended firing pins and this time I used their machining services on my titanium cylinder. It came back on time and exquisitely packaged. I also got a bonus of five moon clips. I’ve reassembled the revolver and the chamfering is wonderful. My loaded moon-clips drop right in. I would wholeheartedly recommend TK custom.

Excellent service. Had a M&P 340 chambered to 9mm. Runs awesome. They turned it around quick. This is the way. BTW the 124 gr. 9mm allegedly travels almost as fast as a 125 gr. 357 out of this package. When confirmed with a chronograph i will likely send in another j frame to be done. I didn’t feel that the 9mm standard pressure was quite as abusive as 38 after running it at the range the other day, but I’m still getting used to it. Nice package in the end. 3 calibers and the 9 is hopefully almost as fast without all the recoil. Chrono ordered today. Thanks Eli and company.

Outstanding job rechambering my 357 cylinder to 9mm. It still shoots 38's and 357. They said about two week turnaround, it took 2 weeks and 2 days. Free return shipping. Shot steel challenge last weekend, flawless.

I trusted TK Custom with the cylinder to my S&W Performance Center Model 327 for cylinder chamfering. I was having trouble utilizing the moon clips. It took entirely too long to load the pug. Well, I received my cylinder today. I installed the cylinder, grabbed a moon clip, and presto, it dropped right in. I was extremely pleased with TK Customs work. Outstanding job, converting my S&W m-10 (already cut for 38 moon clips) to 9mm! The fit is perfect, as advertised, and the 9mm clips are substantially stronger than the previous 38 clips. Tried several brands of brass; all worked. Some fit a little tighter, some a little looser, but they all worked. I'll hand load some lighter stuff, as the cylinder is proofed for 38 only. My m-640-1, almost unbearable in 357, will be going to TK for the same conversion soon! More power than 38's, less recoil than 357's. If you want the best for your revolver, TK is the way to go.

I have purchased several parts for my S&W 66 all parts fit & worked perfectly. Recently had my cylinder chamber honed. What a difference rounds load and unload like butter. Customer service is top notched. Very few businesses go to the lengths that this company does to provide these kind of services. Will always be my go to for revolver parts and service.

great company to deal with. lost my rebound spring when I went to install it. called them and they took care of the problem immediately. great customer service and really good products they sell. will buy again from them when the need arises. cannot ask for more. I was not able to change the rebound spring but everything else. made my Kimber trigger much nicer and when I can change the rebound spring it will even be better. buy there kits and you will not be disapointed.

Eli was awesome to work with, and came up with exactly what I wanted: a 686 PC 4" revolver with all the TK Custom touches to the trigger and action, a gold bead DX front sight, a short extended cylinder release and an 8.5 lb. I have been shooting since 1956 and in all those years have had quite a bit of experience with different vendors in the shooting community so I have had a bit of time to form an opinion on what to expect. I came across TK custom while doing an online search concerning a Ruger GP100 9 mm conversion. Reading the information regarding TK I decided to roll the dice and have the work done there. I sent my cylinder to them just prior to Christmas week and as such figured I probably wouldn't see it until after the new year. Much to my delight they accomplished the work in 4 days turned it around and I received it on Christmas Eve. To say I'm very pleased is an understatement, the work that they done is stellar, the packaging is stellar, The overall experience is stellar. The quality of the moon eclipse they provided as part of the conversion unit work is stellar. I went out to the range on Christmas Day and could not be more pleased with the results. TK custom as my thanks and admiration and if you are considering this 9 mm conversion work I would highly recommend you contact them..

I was astonished by how quickly they got my cylinder, did the work and returned it! The return packaging was exceptional! They included five extra clips with my order! I installed my cylinder then took the gun to the range and it worked perfectly; it exceeded my expectations! Now I want to send them more of my revolvers for this excellent conversion!

Cylinder Chamfering for S&W 929. Absolute true professionals! Work performed on my 929 cylinder is top notch. Chamfered cylinder is smooth and polished. Moon clips load in easily and fall out effortlessly without using ejector rod.

To begin, I have never had any work done on my arms where I had to send out a part to be worked on. TK Custom was able to give me a worry free experience when submitting the work order. Like the site says, a two week wait was expected and I received my cylinder in a pristine box with a extras thrown in for free! The quality of the machining is as if it came from S&W itself, everything was extremely polished and slick, my cartridges slip into each chamber with ease. With the Moon Clips, reloading is made even easier, I was able to just drop my clipped cartridges into the cylinder and they found their way into their slots. I know in the future I will be back for more custom work done on my Model 629 as soon as I can afford the extremely well worth tuning!

TKcustom is a class act. I recently sent them a cylinder to be machined for moonclips. I ordered additional clips and an install and removal tool. They went above and beyond with a quick turnaround and even threw in some extras no charge. Their service and packaging were first class, I highly recommend them as competent gunsmiths are hard to find nowadays!

I want to say how pleased I am with TK Custom products and their customer care. With that said, I recently purchased 10 moon clips for my Ruger SP101. I received the clips very quickly. I had problems loading the clips as they are very tight. I called the company, and they were very helpful and suggested I purchase the loader for the moon clips, I was also told they were going to send me 3 split moon clips to see if this would help. So, I decided to bite the proverbial bullet, and I ordered the loader. I received the clips within a week; however, the loader did not come in a second order. In checked with USPS, as the tracking only showed the package in transit, and it would be late, the last update was on 10-27-2024. As of today, I have not received the loader, so I called TK Custom customer service. After a few minutes of speaking with the customer service representative I was told a new loader would be sent and should arrive within a week. I have been taken care of very well. I know some of TK Custom products are a little pricy, but the products are very well made and well worth the cost. I cannot put a price on the customer care I have received. I highly recommend TK Custom and their products. God Bless your company and God Bless the USA...

I bought a SW 327 PC ($1600 revolver!) that came with moon clips. They were a pain in the you know what to load due to the cases (8 of them) hanging up on the cylinder while trying to insert. So much for a fast reload?! I also wanted more moon clips and the right tools to make loading and unloading them POSSIBLE!. Turns out TK Customs produces the supplied moon clips that came with the revolver. They also make the BEST tools you can buy to do the loading of them! Want to know the BEST part? They also do what Smith and Wesson should have done which is chamfer the mouth of the cylinders to solve the insertion issue I described before! To top it off they did it reasonably, professionally and FAAASSSTTT! Delivered in a pretty box with a bunch of swag! These guys are friggin’ AWESOME! If you need help with your revolver, these are the guys. Did I say they are the BEST? Thanks guys, I’ll be back.

Excellent work on my S&W model 25. I had the cylinder machined to accept 45 ACP moon clips. Turn around time was 12 days from the time TK received the cylinders until I received them back.

I brought Eli a clickety mess. Half a gun. He gave back double: a precise sporting pistol and an effective home defense weapon. Beforehand I had not considered my TRR8 great for either. This was a disappointing purchase from the get go. A Performance Center tuned revolver with an uneven trigger pull, bizarre hammer-frame interference, some really unattractive components, and oversized flash due to cylinder gap. S&W should have had it sent back but I would not now have the finely tuned result that TK Custom churned out. Workmanship aside, this was professionalism and good expectation setting. And that ensured that the result was something for me, not a stock S&W product. Their components for purchase — even the moon clips — are the best in the business. Don’t consider anyone else for your revolver.

Sent my ruger GP100 357 cylinder in for milling it for moon clips. Fantastic job. Returned in a nice box with some extra free moon clips and a nice cleaning cloth. TJ Custom was easy to work with and provided a great service .
