Great stuff despite some initial hiccups

I recently purchased a spring kit, diamond speed hammer, and diamond speed trigger for my new S&W 686+ Mountain Gun. I successfully installed the spring kit (your DIY video was very helpful) and whoa... big difference! The spring kit alone is a HUGE improvement on the smoothness and trigger pull weight. I love it.

I then attempted to install the diamond speed hammer/trigger combo. It appears my revolver has a slightly larger trigger pin diameter than the pin hole in the speed trigger. Unfortunately, the trigger won't fit. (I noticed your website specifically states that the speed trigger won't fit "combat" model Smith & Wessons. I scoured the internet prior to my purchase and confirmed the Mountain Gun series isn't considered a combat model) Since I ordered the speed hammer to specifically interface with the speed trigger, the hammer I ordered won't function correctly with my OEM MIM trigger.

Despite the fitment hiccup, I'm impressed with the quality for your products and would still like to find a way to use them in my revolver. I’ve reached out with a general inquiry and was contacted by your staff. They offered to enlarge the trigger pin hole so I can install the parts and enjoy a much smoother, better action. I really appreciate the quick response we time and focus on customer service.

Federal or Remington & others makes works the best with the .025 thick Full Moonclips, which fit all the .38/357 standard moonclip. They allow the cartridges to have some movement or wiggle so that they will fall right into the chambers once properly aligned. Winchester brass does not work at all as the groove width is too tight/small.

There is no SAAMI specifications for the extractor groove and each manufacturer makes them as they want. The following list gives you a great example. This is why the diameter size of the brass is critical to proper loading, unloading and fitment. Cartridge diameter too big and moonclip too small causes the moonclip to bend. The cartridge should rotate within their respective place and wobble slightly when all cartridges are loaded.
